It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and is naturally mold resistant. Milk paint provides a completely breathable coating and is ideal for painting wood, plastering, drywall and a variety of other surfaces. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and contains no VOCs. Milk paint comes in powder.

Each 230g ziplock bag (one Quart) will contain enough powder to mix up a full-quart of paint, witch covers approximately 70 sq. feet. With the sample bag (50g) you will be able to do a small project of approx. 15 sq. feet. Simply mix this powder with water- it’s that easy!
If you have a large project (kitchen cabinets, walls...) or paint furniture as your business you might be interested in our 5 Pound bags available on request. They will cover approx. 700 to 750 sq. feet.

Mixing: Mix approximately 1 part water to 1 part milk paint powder. Drying time is approximately 30 minutes. Lightly sand with a 220 grit sandpaper to smooth surface. Remove dust. A top coat is required to protect the paint and bring out the richness and depth of the color. We recommend MMS Hemp Oil for a 100% natural finish or MMS Furniture Wax for a hand-rubbed appearance. A polyurethane or varnish of your choosing may also be applied.
